You’ve been designed for worship!
Take a look at this scripture from Matt. 22:37-39.
Jesus said unto him…
Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all of thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and greatest commandment.
And the second is like unto it, thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. (KJV)
Found within these two commandments is our earthly job description. Jesus would not have commanded it unless it was possible. And by commanding it, He was defining what is expected of us here on earth.
Notice though, in creation no other creature has this capacity or job description.
That makes you and I uniquely qualified and responsible for a very important role in the
universe.
To accomplish this He has given you an ability to sing, pray and speak His creative Word. We have been designed to use this “powerful voice” to love Him and love others. And because this is our design we will never find complete fulfillment without learning to do this more effectively.
